Job Duties:

  • Testing and validating the functionality of appliances, computers, TVs, home theater equipment, and various other household electronics.
  • Observe operation of appliance and conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
  • Replace faulty components
  • Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
  • Cleaning and final testing items to ensure they are fully operational.
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs
  • Diagnose faults, using testing devices
  • Repair electrical appliances and components
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
  • Must be able to dismantle and re-assemble items apart and methodical in nature to ensure everything goes back together properly.
  • Cleaning and decontamination of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment that was exposed to water, fire and other contaminates. This included the disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and testing of the equipment.
  • Required to perform these services across Canada on a moment’s notice.

Job Requirements:
– Willing to travel
– Speak English fluently
– Read & Write English
– Vast technical knowledge.
– Ability to lift over 50 pounds
– Organized
